Jacquelyn is a Counselling Psychotherapy Practitioner with Masters Degree training in Social Sciences Professional Counselling and a Diploma major in Learning Disorder Management and Child Psychology. She is also a qualified Trainer in enrichment programs across levels for MOE schools. She has been in counselling practice since 2008 and has journeyed with many disadvantaged and marginalized individuals in battling through their cycles of psychological and emotional challenges in life through therapy and psycho education. Her extensive practitioner experience involves clinical rehabilitation work with adults and the senior community with diagnosed Schizophrenia condition in the psychiatric rehabilitation centre and school based counselling work with at risk and special educational needs adolescences and youths in the education settings. Her major Clinical approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral and Psychotherapy Techniques with the direction of advancing towards the use of creative and integrative approach for effective holistic intervention in the therapeutic process.
With past 12 years of corporate career experience in the TV media and broadcasting industry, her services has extended to aspects of career guidance and counselling support for adults, helping them with workplace and career fulfillment. She is also an affiliate counselling service provider for the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) under the Workplace Options. Jacquelyn is a registered practitioner and Supervisor with L4S accreditation under the Association of Psychotherapist and Counsellors Spore(APACS).
