Chin Huai is an auctioneer, workspace strategist and industrial investment broker turned psychotherapist and trainer. He currently works with organisations on projects related to employee wellness, recruitment and talent management. He also conducts corporate trainings, WSQ courses and workshops on topics such as workplace wellness, para-counselling, self-care and resilience. He is a member of the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS), a Ministry of Education (MOE) registered instructor, an ACTA-certified trainer and a Psychological First Aider. He graduated with a Master of Social Science (Professional Counselling), Bachelor of Science (Real Estate), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Positive Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Family Therapy. He was trained overseas in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (US), .b curriculum from the Mindfulness in Schools Project (Australia) and Ericksonian hypnosis (US).
|Chin Huai used to provide counselling services in Jurong Community Hospital for staff wellness. He was a clinical counsellor with a American company providing Employee Assistance Programme services to multinational corporations. He had also counselled youth-at-risk in schools and geriatrics in nursing homes. He has designed and conducted mindfulness and body-based therapy and wellness classes for organisations and social service agencies such as Ng Teng Fong Hospital, Green Haven Halfway House, Breadtalk Group and the Civil Service Club. He currently volunteers with the Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association as a para-counsellor.|
